Our over pressure pop valve for the CIS air box for Porsche 911’s is a must-have accessory for K-Jetronic vehicles equipped with plastic air boxes.

Porsche 911 engines in the vehicles above have had the bad habit of backfiring and blowing a hole in the air box. The 911 over pressure valve is installed inside the air box and when a backfire occurs the valve will instantly open and release this backfire pressure. The over pressure valve then automatically closes and the engine continues to run.

This pressure valve conforms to all emission regulations and has no effect on engine performance or gas mileage!

-Prevents costly air box explosions!
-Installed with the engine and air box in place.
-Materials and instructions for installation are included.

The installation of the overpressure pop-off valve is recommended for CIS air boxes reference 911.020080 and 911.020081.
