Our clutch cable with a length of 2057 mm. is used as original equipment on the following vehicles equipped with a Type 519 or 644 4-speed transmission:
356 Coupé / Cabrio (1952-1955) *
356 Coupé/Cabrio/Speedster (1954-1955) *
356 A Coupé/Cabrio/Speedster/Convertible D (1956-1959) **
Notes:
* Vehicles fitted with the Type 519 transmission up to transmission serial number 10999 (1952-55).
** Vehicles fitted with the Type 644 transmission from transmission serial number 11001 to transmission serial number 24999 (1956-59).
The 5 digit transmission serial number is engraved at the bottom of the transmissions case.
This 2057 mm. long clutch cable has a 6 mm. cross-section at the pedal and a 8 mm. cross-section at the transmission end. To install this clutch cable, you will also need the clutch cable housing reference 356.070020.
