Jean Buser brings
you an aviation-type stainless steel braided hose kit for Porsche 944 Turbo and 944 Turbo S from 1986 to 1991. This 4 hose kit is made with PTFE, a chemically inert polymer
resistant against very high pressures, surrounded by a tight yet light
stainless steel wire mesh. The advantages of using an aviation type
stainless steel braided hose over the OEM part are several:
-PTFE has great temperature
stability and resistance to high pressures: this eliminates the
"pumping effect" required on the brakes to obtain maximum braking
performance, and increases braking efficiency.
-The very high quality brake hose is much more resistant to corrosion or degradation from contact with brake fluid.
-The outer stainless braided mesh
provides very good protection against abrasion and external corrosion,
and thus preserved the physical integrity of the brake hose lines.
-Weight savings: the staineless steel braided hose kit is much lighter than the OEM part.
