Lightened flywheel for Porsche 964 + 993 (1990-1998)

For sport driving or competition, Jean Buser offers you an aluminum flywheel that is made from the highest quality 6061 T6 aluminum alloy. This material is widely known for strength, heat dissipation and of course reduction in weight.  The friction surface is made of  extra strong 1045 steel alloy.  The flywheel friction plate is milled to high specifications, and can mate with any type of clutch material, including organic, Kevlar, ceramic, metallic and sintered iron. The replaceable friction surface is attached with aerospace type fasteners.  With these replaceable friction plates there is no need to replace the entire flywheel when it has reached its service limits. The ring gear is also made from 1050 steel and is heat treated for durability. The flywheel ring gear is heated then pressed on and secured with grade 8 button screws.
