Reinforced front hood spring for 911 (1965-89) , 911 (65-73)

Jean Buser brings you in OEM quality the reinforced front hood spring for Porsche 911 and 911 Turbo (type 930). Those hood springs, somewhat stiffer than the original ones, are mounted on vehicles from 1965 to 1989. However, their increased stiffness makes them particulary suitable for Porsche 911's from 1965 to 1973.

Worn-out hood springs will not easily support the weight of the hood and will not the latter to remain raised without a risk of sudden collapse and closing.

When you do change the hood springs; it is also a good idea to replace, if necessary, the two spring pins (upper and lower) refernce 911.080039C, as well as the two pin-locking washers 911.080039D for each hood spring.
