O-ring for side transmission differential cover, 911 (87-98) + 911 Turbo (91-98)

Our rubber O-ring with dimensions 186 x 3.5 mm. has two different uses in the Porsche parts program.

1. On the vehicle’s rear side, this O-ring is used as an O-ring for the side transmission differential cover on the following vehicles that are equipped with a Type G50 or G64 5 or 6-speed manual transmission:

      Porsche 911 Carrera 3.2 L (1987-1989)

      Porsche 964 Carrera 4 3.6 L (1989-1994)

      Porsche 964 Carrera 2 3.6 L (1990-1994)

      Porsche 964 Carrera RS / RS America 3.6 L (1992-1994)

      Porsche 964 Carrera 2 / Carrera 4 Turbo-Look 3.6 L (1991-1994)

      Porsche 964 Turbo 3.3 L (1991-1992)

      Porsche 964 Turbo 3.6 L (1993-1994)

      Porsche 993 Carrera 3.6 L (1994-1998)

      Porsche 993 Carrera 4 3.6 L (1995-1998)

      Porsche 993 Carrera RS 3.75 L (1995-1996)

      Porsche 993 Carrera S 3.6 L (1996-1998)

      Porsche 993 Carrera 4S 3.6 L (1996-1998)

      Porsche 993 Carrera Turbo-Look 3.6 L (1996-1998)

In this application this O-ring is located between the transmission housing and the round transmission differential cover.

This differential cover O-ring is not used on vehicles that are equipped with a Tiptronic transmission.

This differential cover O-ring is not used on the Porsche 911 Turbo from 1989 or on the 993 Turbo’s from 1995 to 1998.

2. In the front position this O-ring is used as an O-ring for the differential cover for the front axle final drive in the following vehicles:
