Shift guide sleeve, 2nd to 5th gear 911/912 (65-69) + 914 + 3rd to 4th gear 911 (72-86)

Our three-pronged transmission shift guide sleeve has several uses as original equipment in the Porsche parts program.

1. On the following vehicles equipped with a manual 5-speed transmission, this sleeve is used as a shift guide sleeve between the 2^nd and 3^rd gear as well as between the 4^th and the 5^th gear:

     Porsche 911 2.0 L (1965-1968)

     Porsche 911 S 2.0 L (1967-1969)

     Porsche 911 T 2.0 L (1968-1969)

     Porsche 911 TU / 911 L 2.0 L (1968)

     Porsche 911 E 2.0 L (1969)

     Porsche 911 T / 911 E / 911 S 2.2 L (1970-1971)

     Porsche 912 1.6 L (1966-1969)

     Porsche 914-4 1.7 L (1970-1973)

     Porsche 914-4 1.8 L (USA/CAL) (1974-1976)

     Porsche 914-4 Type V 1.8 L (1974-1976)

     Porsche 914-4 2.0 L (1973-1976)

     Porsche 914-6 2.0 L (1970-1972)

In this application a guide sleeve is placed between the free-wheeling gears for the 2^nd and 3rd speed on the transmission’s secondary (pinion) shaft and another guide sleeve is placed between the free-wheeling gears for the 4th and the 5th speed on the transmission’s main shaft.

2. On the following vehicles equipped with a manual 5-speed transmission, this sleeve is used as a shift guide sleeve between the 3^rd and 4^th gear:

      Porsche 911 E / 911 S 2.4 L (1972-1973)

      Porsche 911 T-V / 911 T-E / 911 T-K 2.4 L (1972-1973)

      Porsche 911 Carrera 2.7 L (1973-1975)

      Porsche 911 2.7 L (1974-1977)

      Porsche 911 S 2.7 L (1974-1977)

      Porsche 911 Carrera 3.0 L (1976-1977)

      Porsche 911 SC 3.0 L (1978-1983)

      Porsche 911 Carrera 3.2 L (1984-1986)

      Porsche 911 Carrera 3.2 L Turbo-Look (1984-1986)

In this application a guide sleeve is placed between the free-wheeling gears for the 3^rd and 4^th speed on the transmission’s main shaft.

3. On the following vehicles equipped with a manual 5-speed transmission, this sleeve is used as a shift guide sleeve between the 4^th and 5^th gear:

      Porsche 924 2.0 L with manual 5-speed transmissions (1978-1979)

      Porsche 924 Turbo 2.0 L (1979-1984)

      Porsche 924 Carrera GT 2.0 L (1981)

In this application a guide sleeve is placed between the free-wheeling gears for the 4^th and 5^th speed on the transmission’s main shaft.
