Synchronizer ring 1st >2nd gear 964 Carrera RS 92 M003 (1992)

Our synchronizer ring for the 1^st and 2^nd gear is used as original equipment on the following vehicle models that are equipped with the Type G50 5-speed manual transmissions:

Notes:

* This synchro ring is only used on the Porsche 964 Carrera RS 92 M003 with the following transmission numbers: G5010 2002001 >> 9 99999 (1992). For the Porsche 964 RS America from 1993-1994 use synchro ring reference 911.030150.

These synchronizer rings are placed between the 1st and 2^nd free gears on the secondary transmission shaft. Their purpose is to allow the free pinions from the 1^st and 2^nd gear sets to mesh without grinding. If grinding or difficult shifting is experienced when gears are changed, your synchro rings may be worn out.
