Retaining spring for cylinders’ lower air baffles, 356 (50-65) + 912 (66-69)

Our retaining spring for the cylinders’ lower air baffles is used as original equipment on the following vehicle types:

    Porsche 356 (1950-1955)

    Porsche 356 A (1956-1959)

    Porsche 356 B (1959-1963)

    Porsche 356 C (1964-1965)

    Porsche 356 SC (1964-1965)

    Porsche 912 1.6 L (1966-1969)

Porsche 356 and 912 air-cooled engines are fitted with air deflectors or baffles to direct impact air on the cylinder cooling fins. If you are missing the retaining clips for your cooling baffles, these can come off the engine with a corresponding loss in cooling efficiency.

Note: Carrera versions of the Porsche 356 use a cooling baffle retaining spring of a different shape.
