Our locknut with dimensions M30 x 1.5 mm. has separate uses as original equipment in the Porsche parts program.

1. This locknut is used as a locknut for the transmission main shaft in the following vehicles that are equipped with a manual transmission:

For the above vehicles this locknut is placed in terminal position on the long end of the transmission’s main shaft. It serves to secure all main gear sets on the transmission shaft.

In this application this locknut for the transmission main shaft is used on vehicles equipped with manual 4, 5 or 6-speed transmissions. It is not used on vehicles with Sportomatic or Tiptronic transmissions.

2. This locknut is used as a locknut for the transmission main shaft and the transmission’s secondary (pinion) shaft in the following vehicles that are equipped with a manual transmission:
