Transmission shifter shaft seal 356 (59-65) + 912 + 911 (-70) + 911 Sportomatic (-68) + 914 (73-)

Our oil seal for the transmission shifter shaft with dimensions of 15 x 24 x 7 mm. has two separate uses as original equipment in the Porsche parts program:

1. This seal is used as an oil seal for the transmission’s internal shifter shaft in the following vehicle models:

     Porsche 356 A Coupé / Cabrio / Speedster with Type 716 4-speed transmission (1959) *

     Porsche 356 B (1959-1963)

     Porsche 356 C (1964-1965)

     Porsche 356 SC (1964-1965)

     Porsche 911 2.0 L (1965-1968)

     Porsche 911 S 2.0 L (1967-1969)

     Porsche 911 T 2.0 L (1968-1969)

     Porsche 911 TU / 911 L 2.0 L (1968)

     Porsche 911 E 2.0 L (1969)

In this application this oil seal which is inserted inside the wall of the transmission cover ensures that the internal transmission shifter shaft installation is leak-proof.

2. This seal is used as an oil seal for the shift stick in the following vehicle models:

     Porsche 914-4 2.0 L (1973-1976)

In this application the oil seal is located below the transmission shifter stick underneath the stick base.
