Vacuum limiter, 911 Carrera 3.0 L K-Jetronic (1976-77)

Our vacuum limiter is used as original equipment on the following vehicle models equipped with a K-Jetronic fuel injection system:

    Porsche 911 Carrera 3.0 L 147 KW / 200 HP. (1976-1977)

Notes:

On vehicles whose timing advance is vacuum-regulated, the vacuum limiter prevents a sudden vacuum drop when abruptly letting off the gas pedal. Quick vacuum changes will affect timing advance and could cause backfiring when the engine goes through sudden RPM drops. Check the proper condition (and replace if necessary) the vacuum limiter if you experience engine backfires when downshifting for instance.
